As for their off-season acquisitions, they have been more on the backend, picking up Karlis Skrastins and Jeff Woywitka for the blueline and Alex Auld to back-up Marty Turco. The two defenders are not big on scoring, so fantasy values are low there, but Auld may see some good ice-time, as they may not want to push Turco too hard this year, so his points could be reasonable. Those are the only big changes to the Stars, thus far.

The Stars have been awfully good about their cap situation going into this summer, not pushing themselves too far and keeping themselves as far away from the ceiling as possible. The 21-man roster above only has a cap value of $45 million, which leaves them ample room for re-signing Sergei Zubov, if he thinks he's healthy enough to go for another year.
The Stars have Tobias Stephan left on their RFA list, but with the signing of Auld this summer, Stephan's value has dwindled and any signing will see him back in the minors for more starts. I would begin to wonder when his star will actually start to shine and if it will be with the Stars in the end.
