The Predators were not left out during the proceedings of the free agent frenzy, as they have decided to re-sign Joel Ward to a 2-year deal worth $3 million. Ward was a pleasant surprise to the Predators in 2009, scoring 17 goals and adding 18 assists in 79 games for the team and he was deservedly rewarded with a brand new deal. He should be in their long-term plans going forward, I would imagine. He may end up being a good fantasy sleeper, if you're looking for a late one.
