The Lightning have seemingly taken a new approach to their management, making sure that their blueline is secure. They have since re-signed Lukas Krajicek to a new 1-year deal, with financial terms not disclosed. Krajicek was acquired last season from the Canucks and seemingly fit well with the Lightning in his stay there. Krajicek was a restricted free agent as of today, but signed on before any offer sheets could arrive.In 2009, Krajicek had 19 points (2G, 17A) in 71 GP. He ranked 103rd among defensemen in pool points.
