The Boston Bruins sent nine players to the minors and three back to juniors on Friday, but they are still auditioning for at least one more forward position and keeping a few around for some more pro seasoning.
Tuukka Rask is sticking around in camp, despite still being behind Manny Fernandez and Tim Thomas for the goaltending jobs. Rask will probably see a bit more time up in the bigs, but be sent down to Providence for a full-time job.
Petteri Nokelainen, Milan Lucic, Carl Soderberg and Jeff Hoggan are the notable names in the forward position, still getting a look in the Bruin camp. Lucic has been colour-coded with the likes of Glen Murray, Patrice Bergeron and Phil Kessel, so if that's a possible sign of things to come, you could read into that what you will. Personally, I don't have a freakin' clue.
The Bruins should be better this season and hopefully their scoring is up from last season. I only say that, 'cuz I got Bergeron last night in our pool draft.
