Defenseman Mike Rathje is close to making a comeback, which might put the Flyers in salary cap danger. His $3.5 million salary last season was not on the books because of his long-term injury status, because of his bad back, but he is seemingly healthy and back in the Flyers. Rathje didn't have a point, nor did anyone else on the Flyers line-up, in his return to the ice versus the Senators, but it is a great stride for him making a comeback.
