The Leafs sent down four players to their farm team, the Marlies, on Friday. There were no real surprises in who was actually dropped down, it seemed rather academic really. There are still some good names still giving the good fight for a full-time big league job at camp. Simon Gamache and Jiri Tlusty headline the forwards, while Justin Pogge and Scott Clemmensen are trying to show management that they don't need two expensive goalies when they are around. This camp is a ways away from being completely sorted out, but at least there is a little bit more promise for Leafs fans going into the season.
