On Thursday, the Rangers sent down two more to the minors. Tom Pyatt and Bob Sanguinetti both got their tickets punched for Hartford for some more seasoning before re-joining the Rangers.
Just in case you get caught with a T. Pyatt on your pool team, be sure to check which NHL club he has beside his name. Be sure you don't get NYR beside his name... 'cuz the one you are looking for is the one in Vancouver, Taylor.
The Rangers still have some high profile prospects in camp. Forwards Artem Anisimov and Nigel Dawes are still battling for a job, while Marc Staal and Al Montoya are manning the back end for a shot at the big time. Staal has a great shot at cracking the line-up, while Montoya is fighting for the back-up job, but will likely head to Hartford for more work in the minors system.
