Devils forward, Jamie Langenbrunner, will go under the knife to repair a sports hernia before the season starts and is scheduled to be on the shelf for 4 to 6 weeks. This is a pretty significant blow to the Devils as they will need all the goal scoring they can get this season with the departure of Scott Gomez.
If Langenbrunner is to miss 6 weeks, he could miss anywhere up to 13 games at the start of the year. Adjust your thinking when considering Langenbrunner for your pool team. You may want to leave him for a waiver draft.
