Announced on Thursday, Samuel Pahlsson will miss 3 to 5 weeks after undergoing hernia surgery. If he misses only 3 weeks, he will only miss the opening games in London (theoretically) and then should be ready for the North American opener on October 3rd. If it's 5 weeks, you should assume he'll miss roughly 7 games. I think if you were going to look over Pahlsson for your pool team, you may want to take a pass, since he's a late round player anyways. You might want to take a look at him come Waiver Draft day.
