The New York Islanders are not putting up with any nonsense this year, as they are changing their own culture from within. Rookie forward Josh Ho-Sang was late to the first day of camp on Friday morning and immediately, he was sent back to the junior ranks, effectively ending his NHL season, before it even began.
Ho-Sang is a kid with some real scoring upside to his game and a ton of talent, but the knock on him has always been that he is a bit of a loose cannon. This demotion is definitely going to show the latter of the two sides of the coin and it will be interesting to see what is career trajectory is like with the Islanders going forward.
