The busy night in the NHL on Tuesday night did big things for the survivor pool, as six of nine teams were able to qualify for Week Seven. That's a pretty good return on 13 games on the schedule last night.
Only two games on the docket on Wednesday night and there will be one survival game out of the two and it's the marquee game of the night.
Braden Holtby will get the nod for Jeremy, as he is still trying to source out his win for the week, as the Capitals will take on Matt Murray and the Penguins, as Scott gets an all important start as well tonight. Scott's team has fallen out of the money in the first couple nights of the week, so a big win here could not only spoil Jeremy's qualification, it could jump him past Marcin to 3rd place again.
After recording a shutout on Tuesday night, Chad Johnson will go right back to work for the Flames, giving John S. another start tonight. At the other end, Marcie will see the return of Mike Smith in the Coyotes' net, as he is returning from a lower-body injury. Unfortunately for Marcie, this start comes three days too late, with her team suffering an elimination from the survival pool on Sunday.
