It's just a bad season to be a Buffalo Sabres player... you know, for their own health.
Forward Tyler Ennis has undergone surgery to repair a problem with his groin and the Sabres don't have an exact timetable for his return, but it is likely weeks, more than anything else. For now, his status will be out indefinitely, and he'll likely be placed on the Injured Reserve here before too long.
For Stuart, this makes two forwards out of his team now out with longer-term injuries, but his team continues to stay afloat in 4th place, now 7 points out of 3rd place, the last money spot. Ennis only has picked up 2 points this season for his team, so he hasn't made any great contributions to where his team is in the standings, but no one wants to lose bodies for extended periods of time.
