Golden Knights Update Stastny Injury

The Vegas Golden Knights had an update on the condition of off-season signing forward Paul Stastny, as he left a game last week with a lower-body injury, already has missed a few games and now it appears that he will be out for quite some time now.  The coaching staff said today that he could be out for up to two months with his current lower-body injury, not clarifying what the injury is, but it is serious enough to keep him out for that long.

Stastny was hurt in the third game of the season against Buffalo last Monday and hasn't been in the lineup since.  Before he was hurt, he was unable to even register a point, so he will be on Derek B.'s team page with no points for quite a while yet.

The Week Nine Waiver Draft will be set to start on November 26th, but the players will not be activated until December 3rd, which is still quite some time to wait on injured players like this.  Derek already is rich in rookies, carrying a couple that will help him with the rookie pool and he may be wise to look into improving his roster for that mini-game, when the time arises.
