Morning Player Notes (Oct 10)

The Toronto Maple Leafs are just popping right along, taking a 7-4 win in Dallas last night and there was a little bit of tinkering in their lineup beforehand as well.  Rookie forward Andreas Johnsson was taken out of the lineup as a healthy scratch and in went Frederik Gauthier to take his spot.  There was no word as to whether or not the lineup would remain the same for the team's next game, Thursday night in Detroit.

In three games this season, Johnsson has no points and 4 PIM and the Leafs are probably looking for that added little bit of secondary scoring from the 23-year old.

Wilton is certainly looking for some scoring from the Swede, as he is the only entry on the pool team that qualifies for the rookie mini-game and Wilton's entry is quickly falling behind there.  Overall, his team is keeping its head above water, sitting in 7th after Tuesday night, 11 points out of 1st.
