The Anaheim Ducks have allowed their number one goalie, J-S Giguere, to go back home this weekend to attend the funeral of his father and all of the family obligations through the weekend. Giguere missed the Ducks' only weekend game on Friday night against the Oilers in Edmonton, but is expected back to the Ducks' line-up on Monday night in Vancouver against the Canucks.
Since the passing of his father, Giguere has missed out on two starts for the Ducks, not being fit to play on Tuesday versus the Rangers.
This season, Giguere has 11 wins and 2 shutouts for 26 points this year, which are pretty good numbers for Dale B., who has Giguere in the Draft.
