The Buffalo Sabres roster continues get shaken up as their struggle for consistency continues after a 2-0 loss to Nashville on Monday night. Leaving the line-up due to injury on Monday was defenseman Craig Rivet, who wasn't available because of an upper body injury. Rivet isn't expected to be out for too long, as he's listed as out day-to-day. Rivet was dropped in the Draft this past week, so he's only good as a Sheet player in Box 26.
Heading back to the press box was Maxim Afinogenov, another Draft drop this week, as his play hasn't improved in the last couple weeks. Afinogenov has been benched already for a couple games and likely isn't a happy camper in Buffalo. The trade rumours are swirling around Afinogenov, watch for him to be moved soon.
Coming back to the line-up on Monday night was Box 21 forward Ales Kotalik. He had missed a couple weeks with a hamstring injury.
