The goaltending situation has seemingly gotten a lot cloudier for the Canucks as they finished only their second game of a 7-game road trip on Monday. The Canucks didn't have the services of Curtis Sanford, the night's starter, after the first period after the goalie took himself out of the game with what is best described as back spasms. Sanford was then replaced by rookie Cory Schneider, who finished the game in a loss.
Sanford, who became a semi-popular pick in the Selection Sheet after Roberto Luongo went down with his groin injury, was also picked up in the Waiver Draft by Ryan and was activated for last night's game against Columbus. Timing is everything.
There is no official word as to how long Sanford will be out of the line-up, but stay tuned to the Injury/News page at the website to see how long he'll be out for, click the link below.
