It looks like Robert Nilsson is back in the Oilers' doghouse, as his play hasn't impressed the coaching staff of late. In 27 games this season, Nilsson hasn't been overly productive, scoring only 4 goals and 6 assists. His defensive play has also come into question this season, having a -8 rating, an Oilers team-low this year.
The Flyers will be without Scottie Upshall until the New Year after injuring his knee on the weekend. It is expected that Upshall will be out for 10-14 days with his knee injury and that will take away one of the team's weapons through the holiday season. This year, Upshall has 11 points (5G, 6A) in 33 games for the Flyers and has played a thid-line role for the team of late.
Sophomore centre, Peter Mueller, hasn't been the offensive force that the Coyotes were hoping for at the beginning of the season, thankfully they picked up some veteran savvy in the off-season, just in case the youth would be jinxed. On Monday night, Mueller, a Draft pick of Larry's, was scratched from the line-up, likely just for that game though. This season, Mueller has 19 points (5G, 14A) in 33 games.
