The word out of the Sabres' camp is that we should be expecting Tyler Ennis back into the line-up after missing a month with an ankle injury. Ennis has only played in 15 games this season for Buffalo, picking up 5 points, so it has been a fairly poor season for the smaller forward. With the Sabres struggling to gain any consistency before the All-Star break, Ennis may not be the greatest player to pick-up for the home stretch, but I think he is worth evaluating again when the pools kick off again next season.
The Carolina Hurricnaes will have veteran defenseman Jaroslav Spacek back in their line-up on Tuesday night, as they go on to face the Islanders. Spacek has been out for a few weeks after taking a puck to the face in a game, but it sounds like all is well for his return. Spacek reportedly practiced with the club on Monday and the coaching and medical staff gave him the green light to go for Tuesday. Spacek has 7 points in 27 games with the team, which isn't a great scoring rate, so I wouldn't be looking towards him for a big boost to the stretch run of the season.
