Evening Player Notes in the Draft (Oct 25)
The New York Islanders have opted to give rookie forward Josh Ho-Sang some more quality minutes... in the AHL. The Islanders demoted the forward on Wednesday, sending him to Bridgeport of the AHL for the time being, but one would have to believe that his demotion is only temporary, possibly just to get his confidence back. In six games this season, Ho-Sang has 4 assists, which doesn't sound too bad, but he hadn't posted a point in two games before being a healthy scratch for the last two games. He'll be back.
For Grant, his 22nd place team really needs Ho-Sang to get his goal scoring touch back and in a hurry. Grant's team already sits 26 points back of the overall money and Ho-Sang was going to be one of the key scorers on his team, but he has yet to get a goal.
