On Saturday, the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets made a move to swap some former 1st round picks that never panned out in their organization. The Jets acquiring Kenndal McArdle, who has 33 career games in three seasons in Florida, while the Panthers acquired Angelo Esposito, who has yet to play an NHL regular season game.

There isn't a lot to this deal, unless one of these two players can find a way into their new team's line-up as a full-time player.  McArdle should be able to bring a rugged style of play, which may fit with some of the 3rd and 4th line talent that the Jets have already brought in, while Esposito's health and consistency will need to improve for him to make the jump in with the Panthers.

I don't think either team can really lose with this deal, but there is some potential for a real win.
