The Penguins re-signed forward Tyler Kennedy to a new 2-year deal, paying him $4 million, which works out to be a $2 million cap hit per year. Kennedy finished 117th among all forwards in 2011, scoring 21 goals and 24 assists in 79 games.If all of the Pittsburgh superstars are healthy going into 2012, Kennedy could be a pretty good pick-up for your pool draft, possibly getting some ice-time on the top two lines.
