The Vancouver Canucks are holding their collective breaths, as they await the news on top scoring forward Daniel Sedin, who suffered an upper-body injury when Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith hit him with an elbow to the head. There has been plenty of speculation since the hit, but reports in-game of Sedin heading for X-rays after leaving the bench was about all we heard about. I would imagine that there could be something significant here, so he'll be day-to-day with an upper-body injury, until the team announces otherwise.
Niesa S.'s team is now tempting the fate I had set aside for those teams in the top 10, as her team has been riddled with injuries since saying that and Sedin could be the cherry on top, as her team has now lost their 1st round pick with this injury. Niesa's team has a 42-point buffer to 11th, so it would take a while to chip away, but if her team continues to get hurt, it could be sooner, rather than later.
