The Calgary Flames have announced that they will be without forward Mike Cammalleri for their game on Tuesday night against the Canadiens. Cammalleri suffered an upper-body injury on Sunday evening and was deemed unable to go for Tuesday's game, early on Monday. He is listed as out day-to-day, but the nature of the injury isn't known.
The Flames are dealing with another rash of injuries, including Lance Bouma, so they had called up forwards Krys Kolanos, Guillaume Desbiens and Greg Nemisz from the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL and all three are expected to play on Tuesday night.
Cammalleri's injury comes at a poor time for Stacey C., who currently holds onto the 4th spot in the draft standings, now 10 points out of 3rd place and only 7 points up on 5th place. It isn't a safe time to be having one of your top forwards go down with injury, but it may not be for too long.
