It looks like Montreal Canadiens' Box 29 defenseman Yannick Weber is back, doing his duties as the healthy scratch in the press box these days. Weber was back upstairs on Tuesday night, as the team took on the Panthers and I would suspect that he will be spending the better portion of the remaining days in the regular season doing so, unless there is an injury to fill in for or the slight possibility that they would like to give him some minutes, now that the games mean a lot less for the team. Either way, his minutes will be limited, as they were when he was actually in the line-up, so I'm not expecting too much here.
For the Rangers, since they have already clinched their division, it could be a good time to cycle some guys in and out of their line-up, which could be the reason why Box 30 defenseman Tim Erixon was held out of the line-up. I suppose there is a good chance that Erixon could be sent back down to the AHL, depending on the team's depth and health on the blueline, since the Connecticut Whale are poised to be in the playoffs this season and he could gain more valuable experience there than if he is going to be a healthy scratch for the stretch run and the playoffs with the big club.
