An upper-body injury was the cause of Clarke MacArthur's absence in the Maple Leafs' roster on Friday night, which led to the team calling up Nazem Kadri from the minors, which was a very beneficial move in the team's 4-3shootout victory against the Devils. MacArthur is listed as out day-to-day, but that is the limit of the details that have been posted online. We'll take it for what it's worth, but if Kadri is going to score one goal in regulation and the shootout winner, I don't think the Leafs will mind if MacArthur takes his time on the shelf.
Brenda F.'s team has fallen a little bit in Week Twenty-Five, now sitting in 14th spot, only 1 point out of 13th and 6 points out of 11th. I'm sure her team will mind if MacArthur is on the shelf for a little while, but it really doesn't make too much difference in the end, unless she has some side bets going at the moment.
