Fedotenko Out

Well, it turns out that the injury to Ruslan Fedotenko is worse than once feared. Results of x-rays show that Fedotenko suffered a broken hand during a fight with Colby Armstrong of the Thrashers. The injury will likely keep the winger out of action for 4-to-6 weeks.

Fedotenko, a 10th round Draft pick of Chris', was enjoying a decent season, scoring 11 goals and adding 10 assists in 38 games with the Penguins. Fedotenko was often placed along side Sidney Crosby on the Penguins first line, which is now being occupied by Jordan Staal. This injury would put a major dent in Chris' chances of gaining spots for any money in the Draft this year.
