Great news in Nashville, as it looks like Steve Sullivan is finally ready to go for the first time in almost two years. Sullivan is expected to dress on Saturday for the Predators against the Blackhawks. This news is very good for the Predators, a team that could use a little more offense to try and work their way back into the playoff picture.
The Preds currently sit a game below .500 this year and their power play ranks 28th in the league at this point, so the team should get a boost there with Sullivan back in the line-up.
For the most part in Sullivan's career, he's been a top 100 pool player, even reaching 28th on the scoring list in 2003/04. He does have some incredible vision on the ice, which brings him a lot of assists. He could be a prized possession in the second Waiver Draft this year, where he'll have a few weeks to get himself ready for. Keep an eye on him, as he could work very well on a struggling pool team.
