It was announced on Thursday that Flyers forward, Simon Gagne, will miss the next 7-10 days with a shoulder injury, which he suffered in the team's win in Vancouver on Tuesday night. Gagne was checked hard into the boards only seconds after the puck was dropped to start the game and he left the game, not to return. The injury is only thought to be a strain and shouldn't require too much extra attention.
Gagne, a Draft pick of Larry's this season, has been having a marvelous season after coming back from a major concussion last year. In 36 games for the Flyers, Gagne has registered 40 points (18G, 22A) and has been one of the team's better players. For Larry, Gagne has been the best forward on the pool team and was tied for the team-lead in pool points with Wild goaltender, Niklas Backstrom.
