Well, as written yesterday in the Tomas Plekanec suspension post, Denis Grebeshkov will be out of action for at least two weeks, thanks to his new high ankle sprain. A Dale C. Waiver Draft pick this year, Grebeshkov had really taken off in Edmonton and he was on the brink of getting lots of minutes, as Lubomir Visnovsky was lost to the Oilers for the remainder of the year. The Oilers and Grebeshkov will be careful not to rush a high ankle sprain, as those are known to linger for an extended period of time, just ask the Penguins last season.
Well, it's been about a month since the last time I had Derek Armstrong on the blog as a healthy scratch. The Box 6 forward was getting a pretty good go in the Kings line-up, especially with the winning streak, but it looks like a winning streak can't save him from making another trip up there last night. Armstrong sat for the game against Calgary and may find himself being a regular occupant of the press box down the stretch, now that he's found out again.
