It looks like the patience has run out with Kyle Turris in Phoenix, as the youngster was sent down to the minors on Thursday afternoon. Turris has been a healthy scratch for the past couple of games and in the games he did play, his production was lacking. He finishes off this chapter of his NHL career with 6 goals and 10 assists in 50 games.
Turris was dropped in the second Waiver Draft this season by Dale B., in what could be showcased as wonderful foresight. His homework nights in the press box was sure a strong indicator that something wasn't meshing well between himself and the head coach, Wayne Gretzky. There is no word as to how long Turris will have to remain in the minors, but I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed down to hone is craft.
Currently, the Coyotes sit 12th in the Western Conference, 3 points out of 8th spot, whom they'll face tonight at home, as the Canucks come to visit.
