A Sharp Diagnosis

The Blackhawks are nestled up tightly in the fourth spot of the Western Conference and they have been rather fortunate in regards to the health of their forwards, but on the weekend, Patrick Sharp found himself being helped off the ice against Dallas. Monday night, the diagnosis came in, as Sharp will now be out of the Blackhawks' line-up for up to three weeks with a lower body injury.

This season, Sharp, a Draft pick of Larry's, has had a reasonable season thus far, scoring 23 goals and adding 15 assists in 54 games this year and he now stands to miss about 10 games with his new injuries.

Last season, Sharp finished the year with 62 points in 80 games, which means his rate of scoring is down from last season. I don't know how you could justify that unless opponents are zeroing in on him.
