Are you tired of injuries yet? Yeah, me too. Anyways, Mike Fisher gets to add his name to the list, as he will sit out tonight's contest against the Devils because of an upper-body injury. Fisher reportedly suffered the injury at practice yesterday, but he says that it isn't major and shouldn't keep him out of the line-up for very long. He is listed as out day-to-day and will accompany the team on its road trip.
Fisher was one of the selections in the Week Eight Waiver Draft, taken by Ryan for his club in the second round. In only one game since being activated, Fisher does have a goal. His absence tonight shouldn't really affect Ryan's overall standing tonight.
On the Sheet, Fisher was a very popular choice as a replacement for Erik Cole or Milan Lucic in Box 23. He was picked up a number of times, since he's the leader in scoring in that box.
