What a surprise. Another player out day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. This time, it's Rangers forward Ales Kotalik, who had suffered the injury and was supposed to be a game-time decision last night against the Panthers. He did eventually sit out of the game, but being a game-time decision should suggest that the injury is minor and that he will also be a game-time decision for their next game, Friday in Tampa Bay.
Kotalik is also a Waiver Draft pick-up this year, this time around, it's Trevor's team that was hit with this injury. Trevor is mired in 13th spot in the standings and could use his new pick-up, especially when the player he dropped, Martin Erat, picked up another point last night.
Kotalik was taken twice from Box 20 on the Sheet and he's turned to be a fairly decent pick. His 17 points is only 4 behind the box leaders and since his injury isn't too bad, there shouldn't be any panic. He could still be a good pick down the line.
