How about some good news this morning? Well, the Predators were likely very pleased to have both Jason Arnott and Jordin Tootoo back in their line-up on Thursday night. Arnott returned from an arm injury suffered a few weeks ago, while Tootoo made his season debut after dealing with a groin/quad muscle problem to start the season.
Oh, but wait... with the return of those two players, there were a couple new names to hit the list for the Predators as well. J-P Dumont hit the list with an upper-body injury and he's listed as day-to-day, while Colin Wilson touches down with a groin injury, also listed as day-to-day. Dumont suffered his injury in practice earlier this week and he'll be re-evaluated on Friday, while Wilson may have re-aggravated a groin injury he suffered in the preseason.
If either player's status changes from day-to-day to anything longer, an update will be posted.
On the good side of the ledger, Chris, who has been dealing with injuries to start the season, gets a man back in Arnott, so maybe his season will start to turnaround. He's the last of the Draft teams to hit the 100-point mark, he just needs four points this weekend to do it. On the bad side, Benson, who sits in 10th, has lost one of his forwards for the time being in Dumont. Dumont was having a pretty good start to the season and was looking like a great pick-up, but this injury may change things soon.
On the Sheet, Dumont wasn't taken in Box 1, Arnott wasn't taken in Box 2, Tootoo wasn't taken in Box 8 and Wilson was taken once in Box 9. Not a huge change of current events in the Sheet with this news.
