The Senators will be without Alexei Kovalev this weekend, as he has taken a personal leave of absence to fly back to Russia for some family matters. There is a suggestion that Kovalev could be back for Monday's game at home to the Capitals, but that may be a tad premature. I would expect him to miss Saturday's contest against the Sabres and Monday's game as well.
