The Canucks announced on Tuesday that they have assigned Cory Schneider was sent back to Manitoba of the AHL, paving the way for Roberto Luongo to re-join the line-up this week.Schneider did start one game, losing to the Dallas Stars on Friday, 2-1, despite a 45-save effort.
Luongo is slated to back-up Andrew Raycroft tonight against the Blues and will likely get his first start on Thursday in Detroit.
