The Avalanche were without one of their top scorers on Saturday night, as Milan Hejduk missed the second half of the home & home series with the Minnesota Wild. Hejduk was injured in the first half of the series on Friday night. The injury is not thought to be too serious and he should be out on the Avalanche's next road trip starting on Monday night in Tampa Bay.
Hejduk has 11 goals and 8 assists in 24 games with the Avalanche this year.
If this is the only game missed, that isn't terrible news for Benson in the Draft, who currently sits in 11th place, 31 points out of the money heading into Sunday's action, with one skater game to play on Sunday.
On the Sheet, Hejduk is a member of Box 2, where he wasn't taken at all.
