The Blue Jackets were again without Mike Commodore for their game on Friday night against the Ducks. Commodore's first game back with the team did not go as well as planned, it seems, because he was kept away from the game for some conditioning purposes and likely some more tests. His fantasy value continues to shrink this season.
The Wild kept Chuck Kobasew out of the line-up against the Capitals because of an upper-body injury. Some of the reports that I've read don't sound terribly promising, but the team continues to list him as out day-to-day. It does look like he'll be a game-time decision again on Sunday against Carolina.
Jaroslav Spacek left Thursday night's game with an undisclosed injury and remains questionable for Saturday night's game in Nashville. He was reportedly kicked in the lower-body region, which was the cause of his absence from the remainder of Thursday's game and I don't believe he was at practice on Friday. If there are more substantial details, I shall post them when I see them.
Finally, the Islanders appeared to have give Josh Bailey a night off on Friday, as the team took on the Hurricanes. Bailey hasn't had much success this season, scoring 5 points in 18 games for the club, so a night looking down upon the game looked to be in order. It's certainly not a terrible idea for someone who is still rather new to the game.
