The Minnesota Wild are the next team to take a waiver claim on Andrew Ebbett, who was put on the waiver wire by the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday afternoon in order to send him down to the minors. The Blackhawks were the second team to claim Ebbett off of the waiver wire this season, as they claimed him from Anaheim early on this season.
In Anaheim, Ebbett played in only two games, failing to register a point. With the Hawks, he played in ten games, picking up a pair of assists.
The move of Ebbett to Minnesota won't have much of an effect on the pools this season. He wasn't taken in the Sheet pool (Box 7) and he wasn't picked up in the Waiver Draft by any of the Draft teams, so he'll go on playing in pool obscurity.
