Penguins' forward, Tyler Kennedy, missed a few games over the past couple weeks with an undisclosed injury, but returned earlier this week with a bang (a couple of assists on Tuesday), but was scratched again from the Pens line-up on Thursday night, due to the same undisclosed injury. After missing only three games the first time around, you would have to think that the injury is somewhat minor, but after it re-occurs, you may want to think twice about it. I would really wonder if its a groin issue.
Kennedy was a popular replacement for Milan Lucic in Box 23, as he was picked up half of the times that Lucic was dropped since his injury, but it looks like the other half, who picked Mike Fisher, may be getting a bit more luck. Kennedy currently has six active selections in the pool at the moment, so time away is not going to help anyone. If no one is going to detail the injury further, it may not be too serious.
