Goalie Announcements (Oct 21)

Only three more teams joined the ranks for Week Three on Thursday night and it was a busy night! Now, with only three nights left in the week, the remaining seven teams might start to sweat a little bit before the stroke of Monday morning hits.

Speaking of three, only three games going on Friday and there might be a little more action in the survivor pool to speak of.

Mike is still in need of a win this week, after posting a couple of wins last week and he'll send his second-best to the crease tonight, with Sergei Bobrovsky and the Columbus Blue Jackets playing host to Corey Crawford and the Chicago Blackhawks.  Bobrovsky has yet to post a win this fledgling season, while Crawford has only a single win, but it came too late for Marcin, who didn't pick it up in Week One.

The first start for Louis Domingue didn't go quite as planned on Thursday night, getting yanked against the Canadiens after allowing four goals in a period and a half, but he will give Wes another start tonight, as the Coyotes head to Brooklyn for a date against the Islanders.  The Islanders will counter with Jaroslav Halak, who plays for Troy's team, which has already qualified for next week... I wonder if that means that he will take a break in this game.

It doesn't look like the Nashville/Detroit game will have much of an effect on the survivor pool, as Pekka Rinne will go for the Predators, playing for the already qualified Stacey M., while Petr Mrazek will go for the Red Wings, playing for the already eliminated Stacey C.  Oh yeah, something something about the points in the standings or something like that... this is a mini-game post.  Ha!
