Goalie Announcements (Jan 12)

Tonight, we'll get our first action in the survivor pool for Week Fifteen, but it's only one of the two teams that will be active, with both of their goalies. Allan will get two cracks at getting his win tonight, which should certainly help his cause greatly.  Jeremy had one of his projected games eliminated with the Panthers game last night, so he's only down to the five games left this week.

In the first game for Allan, Connor Hellebuyck is expected to get the start for the Winnipeg Jets, as they play host to the traveling show that is the San Jose Sharks.  The Sharks were in Calgary last night, so it should be Alex Stalock (Derek & Dan) in the other net.

The second game will be his number one goalie, Ben Bishop of the Lightning, invading Denver to take on Semyon Varlamov (Kristy & Don) and the Avalanche.  Allan's goalie is going up against a hot goalie on the other side, one that has spoiled a few parties already this season, so he should hope he doesn't need this game to qualify tonight.  It's going to be a tough one.

There are six more games going on tonight, but no one else has two goalies going tonight.  I suppose that's why Allan is still in it, right?  Also playing tonight: Anton Forsberg (non-pool) versus Thomas Greiss (Eric), Marc-Andre Fleury (John R.) versus Cam Ward (Neil), Keith Kinkaid (non-pool) versus Brian Elliott (Grant), Linus Ullmark (Stacey C.) versus Devan Dubnyk (Derek W.), Pekka Rinne (Ryan) versus Corey Crawford (Stuart) and then Anders Nilsson (Cindy) versus Louis Domingue (non-pool).
