More Morning Player Notes in the Draft (Jan 9)

Just ahead of Saturday's contest between the Islanders/Flyers game and shortly after I posted the morning notes, Long Island announced that defenseman Travis Hamonic was to miss the game with a lower-body injury, added to the list as out day-to-day.  There were no details about the injury, but Scott Mayfield would draw into the Islanders' lineup for the first time this season, because of the injury.

This would have far more impact in the PIM pool, as Wes' defenseman wouldn't get to play in a key divisional game for the team, one that might get heated in an afternoon matinee environment.  We'll have a quick Race to the Sin Bin post before puck drop today, going over how well Wes' team did on Friday night.x
