The morning starts in the Mountain Time zone makes these posts somewhat rushed and incomplete, but I'll work with it.
Three afternoon games are set to go in the NHL on Saturday and there are some interesting match-ups here. In the more traditional weekend afternoon game, the New York Rangers are in Philadelphia to take on the Flyers and in that one, we are expecting to see Henrik Lundqvist (Derek & Dan) take on Steve Mason (Derek W.). In the Noon MT game, the New Jersey Devils head to the desert to take on the Arizona Coyotes, where it will be Cory Schneider (Troy) getting the call against Anders Lindback (non-pool). Finally, in the last afternoon game, the Ottawa Senators are in Los Angeles to visit the Kings, where it should be Craig Anderson (John P.) taking on Jonathan Quick (Brenda & Seward) in a good skating match-up, one would think.
There are ten games in total on this Saturday night, so we'll quickly go over the rest of the goalies that are expected in tonight and they are as follows: Jonathan Bernier (Cindy) versus Tuukka Rask (Dale C.), Braden Holtby (Jeremy) against Chad Johnson (John P.) in a money spot match-up, Calvin Pickard (non-pool) goes against Joonas Korpisalo (non-pool) in a game that means nothing to the pool, Mike Condon (John R.) against Brian Elliott (Grant) in a basement dweller game, while it could be Devan Dubnyk (Derek W.) against Carter Hutton (Dropped) in Nashville, Jonas Hiller (Grant) should be taking on Cam Talbot (Brian) in Edmonton and finally, Antti Niemi (Stacey M.) is expected to take on his old club in San Jose, who will have Martin Jones (Scott) in net.
