Goalie Announcements (Jan 15)

Well, Jeremy got his win last night, so there's no drama this weekend.  The surviving pair of teams live to fight another week.  The All-Star break isn't far away, which will be the true test of this mini-game, I'm thinking.

We are still two and a half weeks away until the start of the Week Eighteen Waiver Draft, but I'm sure there are a few teams thinking about it and that could mean some more changes to the crease.  Well, how about the previously dropped Robin Lehner (Dropped)?  He's making his return to action tonight, as the Sabres host the Bruins and Jonas Gustavsson (Stacey C.).  Lehner has 27 minutes worth of action, so far this season, so he's gotta be itching to go.

Match-ups tonight that we know for sure include Marc-Andre Fleury (John R.) versus Andrei Vasilevskiy (Mike) in Tampa Bay and Kari Lehtonen (Dale C.) versus Frederik Andersen (Benson) in Anaheim in the late game.

Then there are a few more games, where it could still change by game time, but goaliepost.com has a pretty good beat on these games: Scott Darling (Eric) versus James Reimer (John S.) in Toronto, Jacob Markstrom (Wes) versus Cam Ward (Neil) in Carolina and Michael Hutchinson (Mike) versus Devan Dubnyk (Derek W.) in Minnesota.

Doesn't look like there is too much play in the money spots tonight, so some teams will get a good shot at playing a little bit of catch-up.
