The Kings have reportedly re-signed goaltender Erik Ersberg, adding a 2-year extension to his current deal. Ersberg was scheduled to be a UFA this summer and there was some chat that he may have been moved to a contending team to help a goaltending situation, but instead, had the Kings come back to him with a new deal, reportedly worth $750,000 for each season. That definitely isn't committal to being the number one guy, but at least it gives him a job to come back to in the Fall.
Ersberg is part of the Sheet in Box 16, but there were many of other positive additions that other people have chosen before him. Watch for Ersberg's situation in training camp, as he might be a worthy candidate for pick up in a deep draft.
