Only a couple of pool-related notes from Monday night. Brandon Sutter, a Box 25 forward, has been sent back down to the minors on Monday, as he has been a healthy scratch for the Hurricanes for more games than not since the trade deadline. Sutter has played in 50 games this season, but has been relied more as a depth forward, only registering 6 points.
The Capitals finally got to welcome back Brian Pothier to their line-up after being out for 14 months with a concussion, which was perfect timing, as Mike Green was under the weather on Monday night and couldn't go against Atlanta. Green isn't expected to miss many games with the illness, unlike Sergei Fedorov, who has missed a number of games already in the past week and a bit, due to a seemingly serious illness.
