The Sabres managed to snake Domenic Moore out of Toronto for a second round pick.

2nd Round Pick |
In this non-pool related deal, Moore pretty much got top pick available out of Buffalo and Brian Burke should be pretty tickled with this result. Moore, thought to be more of an overachiever with the Maple Leafs, has the numbers to warrant a second rounder, but he was playing on a team that was able to give him linemates and minutes to work it all out. This deal is, to me, rather overpriced, but congrats to the Leafs for sucking out a big pick out of the Sabres for him.
