The Buffalo Sabres acquired a new goaltender that can take over the starting role in net from the Coyotes, while they wait for Ryan Miller to come back from injury. Mikael Tellqvist is a future UFA, which isn't too bad and getting him for a pick is a pretty good deal. The Coyotes look like they will be stocking up on picks today.

The Sabres padded their goaltending and Tellqvist will now get some starts in Buffalo. Will he be good enough to get some wins, it's likely, according to a couple TSN panelists. He is a Box 16 goaltender, which makes him a back-up, now he becomes a starter and he could be a good pick-up in any fantasy pool. Getting wins is something that could sway a pool team a few more points their way.
